Alleck Doxer is a French-American director, photographer and producer.
At a young age, Alleck developed a deep interest in the art of film and storytelling, inspired by his grandfather, who had a notable career with acclaimed filmmaker François Truffaut.
At the age of 13, Alleck was gifted his first camera, which marked the beginning of his journey in the world of visual expression.
In 2019, Alleck took on the role of executive producer and editor for his inaugural short film, titled "ZOO." The film made its debut at the esteemed Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, captivating audiences with its unique narrative.
Since its premiere, "ZOO" has achieved remarkable acclaim, amassing more than 30 awards from a selection of over 100 international film festivals. It received the honor of being designated as a Vimeo Staff Pick and earned a coveted spot in the prestigious Criterion Collection. Furthermore, the film is currently available for viewing on all Air Canada flights, reaching a wide audience.
Building on his success, Alleck has collaborated with Netflix on various projects, showcasing his versatile talents. His photography work has recently been published by Fish Eye Magazine, adding another dimension to his artistic repertoire.
Looking ahead, Alleck has ambitious plans for 2024, with the impending release of his first-ever photo book, a significant milestone in his creative journey.
